Quencher

Provides turbulence to cool hot gas streams to saturation while collecting large particulate matter and absorbing acid gasses.

Envitech’s proprietary quencher delivers reliable performance in the toughest environments, cooling hot gases efficiently while protecting downstream equipment. Using a low-pressure-drop Venturi, the quencher rapidly cools gases through water evaporation, while simultaneously capturing particulate and removing acid gases. The result is a cleaner gas with lower operating costs.

Designed for durability and ease of operation, the quencher recirculates water through large, open injection ports that eliminate nozzle fouling and minimize maintenance downtime. Co-current gas and liquid flow prevents wet-dry interface problems, ensuring consistent, trouble-free performance. With an all-metallic design capable of handling temperatures up to 2,200°F, the quencher is built with heat- and corrosion-resistant alloys for long service life.

Proven in over 200 installations worldwide, Envitech quenchers serve industries where reliability is critical—including waste incineration, thermal oxidation, furnaces, kilns, calciners, recovery boilers, pyrolysis, gasification, refining, petrochemicals, smelting, geothermal power, mineral processing, and waste-to-energy. Wherever high-temperature gas streams demand robust cooling and gas cleaning, Envitech quenchers deliver lasting results.

Packed Bed Scrubber

Envitech’s vertical packed bed Scrubbers and horizontal crossflow scrubbers provide economical and high efficiency solutions for the removal of acid gases.

Envitech’s packed bed scrubbers deliver high-efficiency acid and toxic gas removal with a low-pressure drop, helping facilities reliably meet stringent emissions requirements while minimizing operating costs. Engineered with advanced packing designs, our systems maximize gas-liquid contact for superior performance and reduced energy consumption.

Each scrubber is designed for dependable operation. Counter-current gas and liquid flow ensures high removal efficiency, while an engineered liquid and gas distribution system provides consistent, uniform performance. Large, open packing designs reduce fouling and maintenance, extending equipment life and uptime.

Built to last, Envitech scrubbers are available in both corrosion-resistant FRP and metallic designs, customized to meet thermal, structural, and chemical resistance needs. Standard FRP models are manufactured to the latest ASTM and industry standards, with stainless steel and specialty alloys available for more demanding applications.

Proven in hundreds of installations worldwide, Envitech packed bed scrubbers serve a broad range of industries and processes—from waste incinerators, thermal oxidizers, and furnaces to kilns, boilers, reactors, digesters, and more. Systems can be delivered as fully integrated, skid-mounted packages with pumps, tanks, chemical feed, instrumentation, and controls, reducing installation time and cost while ensuring a seamless startup.

Venturi Scrubber

Utilizes fine drop atomization to efficiently collect particulate matter and acid gasses.

Envitech’s Venturi scrubbers deliver reliable, high-performance particulate control for the most demanding processes. Using high-velocity gas flow and atomized liquid, they efficiently capture fine particles that other systems struggle to remove, ensuring compliance with stringent emissions standards.

Engineered for flexibility and uptime, each scrubber features jet nozzles and an adjustable throat or reflux damper to maintain performance across a wide range of operating conditions. Downstream separation technology ensures clean, liquid- and particulate-free gas while minimizing maintenance and operating costs.

Proven in hundreds of installations worldwide, Envitech Venturi scrubbers are trusted in industries where reliability is critical—from medical and hazardous waste incineration to mineral refining, sludge treatment, gasification, tire manufacturing, and more. Wherever particulate control is a challenge, Envitech provides a durable, field-proven solution.

Entrainment Separator

Our multi-stage waveform entrapment separator is a high-efficiency solution that collects fine droplets from the gas stream while operating at a low-pressure drop.

Envitech’s proprietary entrainment separators deliver superior mist elimination for tough industrial processes. Using a two-stage design, they efficiently capture both large droplets and fine mist, ensuring cleaner gas streams and better protection for downstream equipment.

A rugged precutter knocks out larger droplets, while multi-turn chevrons remove the fine mist that other devices often miss. Both stages are oriented vertically for effective drainage, reducing fouling and minimizing maintenance.

Proven in industries such as mineral processing, oil refining, tire manufacturing, and asphalt production, Envitech entrainment separators consistently outperform cyclonic separators and knockout pots, providing reliable, long-lasting performance in the most demanding environments.

Wet Electrostatic Precipitator

Designed to eliminate extremely fine particulate and mist at the final “polishing” stages.

Envitech’s wet electrostatic precipitators (WESPs) deliver unmatched performance in controlling the most difficult pollutants—fine particulate, sub-micron aerosols, heavy metals, acid mists, and condensed VOCs. With proven results across a wide range of industries, WESPs help facilities achieve stringent emissions limits while reducing operating costs.

Using powerful electrostatic forces, Envitech WESPs capture particles too small for conventional scrubbers or filters. A continuous water film rinses collection surfaces clean, ensuring consistent efficiency and low maintenance. Unlike energy-intensive Venturi scrubbers or baghouses, WESPs achieve high removal efficiency with minimal energy use, lowering long-term operating costs.

Trusted in some of the world’s most demanding environments—including hazardous and medical waste incineration, metal refining, sulfuric acid plants, and wood product dryers—Envitech WESPs provide reliable, field-proven performance for industries that cannot afford downtime.

Activated Carbon Bed

Efficiently captures mercury, heavy metals, and dioxin/furans from industrial gas emissions.

Envitech's activated carbon systems provide proven, high-efficiency control of some of the most challenging contaminants in industrial applications. Designed to capture mercury, heavy metals, and dioxins/furans, Envitech's carbon beds routinely achieve removal efficiencies exceeding 99% using a blend of high-performance pelletized activated carbon.

Each system is engineered as part of a complete emission control strategy. Upstream particulate filtration and temperature conditioning protect the carbon media, prevent plugging, and establish optimal adsorption conditions, maximizing bed life and ensuring consistent performance.

Envitech's activated carbon beds are trusted in the most demanding applications, including medical and hazardous waste incineration and complex chemical processing operations.
